Hello Mister Nurazam! This is Albert Widjaja from Jakarta, Indonesia. I'm 18 years old and going to learn about academic writing this whole semester under your guidance. Actually, I'm very glad you are our lecture for English. Because you are friendly and very kind. You always smile and explaining to us step by step until we understood. Thanks to God! Right now, I'm going to describe myself about my family & relationship, my hobby, and my personal life.
First of all, I want to talk about my family. Of course I have parents that always love me. They can sent me to Malaysia for my degree. They fulfill my dream to study architect on the other country. And I have four siblings. One big brother, two younger brother, and a little sister. When i was planning to went back to Jakarta for holiday on Hari Raya holiday last week, all of them asking for souvenirs. Very very impolite huh? lol. But they all welcome me nicely when i went back. They prepared for the foods and everything even I'm just out from Jakarta only for a month. So it is clear that my family and me are really a very happy family and I'm hoping it can last longer.
And the 2nd part, I'm going to talk about my hobby. My highest rank for hobby is eat and sleep of course. Everyone does that. And i love football. My favourite team is Manchester United as i already mention it before. I know your favourite is Chelsea right? I'm sorry if my team defeated yours in Premier League and Champion League last season. Don't cut my marks just because of that ok. At least they draw 1-1 last time they met like about 2 or 3 weeks ago. lol. I used to play futsal at my hometown like twice a week everyday. But i never do that again after i get here. I'm hoping i don't get fat because I don't do sports here. And I really enjoy watching sports highlights because it only shows the best thing in every matches or games. They skip the boring part. And i love hearing music while I'm browsing and chatting or while i'm posting this blog. So frankly speaking, all my hobby is all about entertaining is it? but that's what are hobby use for. Refresh our mind.
For the last part, my personal life. I want to talk about my personal life in here. Actually, my life here makes me more independent and more responsible to myself. I wash my clothes myself, I clean my room myself, and everything I do it myself. Because no one won't do it for me. And my university. Limkokwing. I think it is a good university. The university that focusing on innovation and creativity. But I think all of the students there pay too much. But luckily we all have a nice and kind lectures and a good environment. And my ambition is to be an architect of course. I'm hoping i can be useful for the next 4 years and make my parents satisfied. So it is clear that my life here makes me more computerized and also fun. I have met new friends, etc.
Therefore, I'm really hoping I can make my parents proud of myself and return back all the money they had given me since i was born. And I will miss them all, focus on every assignment, refreshing my mind with my entertaining hobby, and live my life here as a new life to make it great. I'm combining academic writing with casual writing here. I hope you enjoy it. Thank for the attention Mr. Nurazam.
